AIPlayer class...

by Ryan Ackley · in Torque Game Engine · 01/23/2002 (8:09 am) · 23 replies

I read in the changelog that the AIplayer class is working:

- kb: AIPlayer is now working. VC6 Workspace is updated, make targets updated
- kb: Default AIPlayer class in scripts, catches callbacks thrown from the AIPlayer code

Though i dont know the date as to when this became so... last i knew it wasnt working, so this is a good update for me... im thinking it was in the 1_1_1 update...

Any ideas on where to start with this... i messed around a little bit with aiconnection, but went about it all wrong and it didnt quite do what i wanted. Pat, you got any cool bots running around?

Wow, why is that site so popular!? My friend showed it to me the other day, and after we read all the stuff there, we refreceshed (to watch how much the hit counter had changed in 20 mintues). There had been like 1,700 hits in 20 minutes... and over 1,000 forum posts in the past four days... why did this thing become so popular!?
(Besides the fact that it is quite funny)

On a topic-related note, I would love to see that tutorial badguy... are you going to post it? Or should we email you and ask for it?

umm ive been trying to instantiate a named group
VehicleGroup for some reason I cannot get it working I have the AIObjectiveGroup instantiated and its fully functional but I need to get the VehicleGroup going so there is no need to hack the target id.. other than that I have it fairly clean and am ready to put it into an example it is very simple but .. I need to get this VehicleGroup thing working
