I'm a self employed freelance artist (that is, I'm doing this full time and have for a number of years) that knows how to program if I have to...
I suppose the "looking for a change" bit may fit though as that's part of why I'm here.

Your choices are a bit limited, so I'll just make up my own.I'm a self employed freelance artist (that is, I'm doing this full time and have for a number of years) that knows how to program if I have to...

The only thing good about being here - my hobby is fishing! Go figure!

All but 4, though not exactly 1 in some areas either. I'm also more of an artist and designer than a programmer (it's easy to draw vs. affording coding software, and I'm from a very poor family). As for being unemployed, well, the options for work aren't exactly favorable in my area and I've worked at almost every job here with total disatisfaction (not with the work, just the asses that tend to run things and the measly pay). This place is beyond the word 'sucks' and I'm just waiting for a one-way ticket out.The only thing good about being here - my hobby is fishing! Go figure!

With your game developer categories I would have to put myself as (4) Hobbyist moving into Indie.

A mixture of 1, 3, and 4. I'm a beginner to game dev, but not programming in general - been doing it for awhile now. I'm a hobbyist, I just like making fun stuff.

3.) Programmer

Designer
Artist / Modeler (VERY beginner)
Marketer
Businessman
There are lots of roles that need filling with indie development, and with the usual indie budget, you can't afford to specialize much.

I know the word Producer can be a self-contained oxymoron, but whatever number that is, I'm there!
Torque Owner N
4. a hobbyist
I just started really using Torque as a hobby but I hope to get a job as a programmer.
