Source Code & Compiling?

by Quantum_Mechanic · in Torque Game Engine · 06/19/2005 (4:38 am) · 4 replies

(noob) This may have already been answered, if so please point me in the direction of a link. I searched, but came up with nothing.
Were do I find the source code to compile the engine, and any help docs to help the process along.

Thanks in advanced for any help.

Just buy the engine and you'll get the code and all the docs :)

I've purchased the engine, but can't find the file with the source code to even begin. What is the source code folder named?
Hope this clears things up a bit.

Um...to get the source code, you need to get access to the CVS

There's a recent resource right here -> http://www.garagegames.com/index.php?sec=mg&mod=resource&page=view&qid=8067

that teaches how to configure CVS to get the latest torque.

of course, you could always get the binary too =D

That's if you want the latest unreleased version. The source code is in the download you got when you purchased the engine.

The SDK folder.. is the engine. That is the source.

Searching does yield results, look for the Torque Build Environment, and read the documentation th at came with the SDK.
