FYI: Gamedev.net is having a "Robots, Pirates, Ninjas and Zombies" in a single game for Windows (downloadable/browser fine):

This is a great opportunity for you to hone and show off your skills as well as to show what a great engine TGE / TSE / T2D is/are (you choose).
Source code entry is not a requirement so there shouldn't be any problems there.
Oh, and besides the fame and accolades from your peers, the prizes are cool too!
Don't get beat out by someone who doesn't have the kind of power and support you have available to you.

Dang! I could make that game really quickly if I could just figure out a way to get my old .md2 (from the A6 engine) format models into Torque.

Dreamer you could use Milkshape as a converter it supports both A6 and Torque.
