by Eran Caspi · in General Discussion · 06/02/2005 (2:03 pm) · 26 replies
Hello
I tried to get help in two other forums but I didn't got help
for over two week I can't see the full documentation only the preview version
even though Im logged to GG. I tried to logout and login but it didn't
change anyhing
plus I have a problem with the forum, the counter of the unread posts
is always on 0 and all the post look like new (red dot).
What do I need to do?
I tried to put this topic here and here but as I said no one
helped me, maybe here someone will notice this topic ><
Im using IE 6 on Win XP Pro SP 2 (tried FireFox also and the problem still occur)
I had no idea which is the best forum to put it but after 2 forums I looked for the one with people :|

Yeah, I'm only getting the preview documentation too right now, so it looks to be the same for everyone.

Yes, the preview docs are static HTML, but the ones available to licensed users are PHP. I would imagine that the latter redirects you to the former if you're not logged in as a TGE license owner. Static HTML cannot reliably check a visitor's status.

@Eran - Sorry it took so long to figure this out but all I had to go on was "the doc's were not working" for you. I logged in using your account and navigated to the docs and it all worked fine. The only conclusion was it must be you are not logged in or you are having cookie problems. The important piece of information I did not have was the URL.
Glad it's working and thanks for everyones assistance as I am personally out numbered by the number of email questions I get a day but you guys far out number questions here on the forums.
Thanks again!

Torque 3D Owner Matthew Langley
Torque
EDIT: btw yeah I guess 'suit'ing up a couple dozen guys would rack up in the cash.... friendly humor :) If you have a question about Torque (I'm assuming thats why you are looking at the documentation) then I suggest using the search button up top or posting on the private forums requesting help.
