Google has an interesting project about to start over here: http://code.google.com/summerofcode.html
I wonder, what would be the possibility of a Torque-supporting open source application? The one I have pondered for a while would be achievable in the time allotted: a good skeleton builder that would copy only the necessary .cs files and exec statements based on initial selections rather than the whole big mess.
Or perhaps a good databaser of objects and supprting .cs files for our growing object library.
What's the community's thoughts on an open source app to support closed-source development?
(I've deliberately put this thread here rather than in the member's only section since I'm curious about non-owner opinion as well - are there OS tools that would make you more interested in purchasing than just the demo has already?)
