How do I know if I have the most current version of torque?

Im using my friends account, he gave me the task to learn torque 2d cuz he doesnt have time (he is my teacher), so now Im really hooked to torque 2d and Im planning on getting it myself. I wish to know which version of torque I have and if its the most current one available. How do I find out this?

Well, you absoutely must get your own separate copy--sharing of licenses is strictly prohibited in the EULA. Additionally, sharing accounts is also prohibited.

Now that that is out of the way, your best option is to check the date and name of the installer you installed T2D from, and then download the "latest" installer and make sure that they match. If not, re-install to a fresh directory, and then use a diff tool to compare to extract any changes you need to make.

Ok sorry I understand that Im doing something "ilegal" and Im sorry, I will definetely get torque as soon as possible myself, the only reason this is happening is because my teacher practically bought the game engine for me, we where talking about it and so he wanted me to check it. Im sorry.
