What does the book Come with As far as Torque

I hear that it comes with an older version of the engine which can't be modified is this true?

I seem to have lost the CD from my copy of the book, but I believe you are correct it does not come with C++ source code. You only get that if you buy a TGE license.

However it just goes to show how versatile torquescript is, and that it's not always necessary for to get into C++ coding, to write a game with TGE.

Also, the book was published in 2004 so I'm pretty sure it's version 1.3 of torque. It's not HEAD (cvs), but is current enough for learning. 1.4 isn't out yet.
