Have you tried looking at the community page? Next to the new funky search :)

Yep, we now get to see three at a time instead of just one :)

Unfortunately they tend to be "beneath the fold" now.

Agree with Bruno .
They are well hidden now :(

Yeah, I think they should be brought up to the top so people can actually find them... :/

Even when you are scrolled all the way to the top of the page, you can see the top of the screen shots (unless you have an extremely small monitor and screen res).

It's just a workflow change (and a minor one), and part of getting used to the new site!

There are so many things that benefit from a "one stop browsing" feature that the Community Page is different from what we are used to, but I think that everyone will find with a little practice that if you set the "Community" page as your entry point into the GG website, things will flow pretty well from there.

Ok, they are at the community page, but, could I have only one ( instead of three ), on the menu on the right ??
Who should we ask for this ?

BTW, the funky search tool doesn't find my own resources. I searced for "Flight compendium" and it only return threads where it was mentioned :-(

There is no right side information bar any longer--a decision that was made for the new organization. It's not something that will be coming back as far as I am aware. There are a lot of good design reasons for the site for this decision, and it will just take some getting used to!

Try using the advanced search, and/or changing the search area from "All Documents" to "Resources" specifically.

Personally I find I don't give the IOTD the time of day anymore since the new web site redesign happend, which is rather unfortunate I think.

Previously it was always there in the back of your mind reminding you that there is that one last little thing to check out before you leave the site (just like the last 5 recent posts and plans), now there is no reminder. I think this hurts the community a lot because eventually no one will care about what one another are doing.

HUH... Now you all can see the last three IOTD is you just go to the Community Page. First, people start moaning about us not leaving your IOTDs up long enough, so we change the way things are and now you can see the last three IOTDs and now people whine about seeing three and not one image.

If you want to know what's going on in the community Logan, just go to the community page, now you get the last 10 posts, the last 10 blogs, the last 10 news items, the last 10 resources AND the last 3 IOTDs, plus there is now a direct link to the Artist IOTD as well. What more do you want? From the community page you can get to ANY part of the website. Take a look at the links on the left side on the Community Page.

Does change hurt that much?

PS. and don't worry, the IOTDs are going to the top.

Some see it as constructive criticism, others see it as moaning and whining.

@Stephen Zepp
switching from all to resources didn't help. But the idea of having a google server isn't to find things faster ? GG guys could give it a closer look.

@L. Foster
I Agree with your point

@Bruno: As it turns out, the reason that it's not showing up in the search is because the resource itself did not get brought over to the new site. At first guess, it's probably related to the known issue with posting code that uses hardcoded TABS in code blocks--is it an accurate guess that you use TABS instead of SPACES for your code?

I'll run this one by Rick O when I get a chance to see if there might be another issue, but I'm betting this is the case.

@ Stephen
Can't tell if there are Tabs instead of spaces. The code came from source programs, they might have tabs. But I'm sure lot's of others resources may have it also.
