Well, this is totally the wrong forum for this question, but I'll answer it.

1. Unzip the lighting pack.
2. Go into the synapsegaming/content/lightingpack/ directory. Compile it using whichever project.
3. Run the executable from examples (copy it in from the build directory if on OSX). Whammo.

If you own Torque 2D, you can drop the T2D directory right in, add it to the project and compile as well. Then you have the best of all possible worlds!

First thanks for the fast help:)

What do you mean with compile it? C++ ? (i am level designer and scripter, no programmer) and i cant find a exe file to compile it. I am maybe a noob in this kind of things.
(I use the 3D engine from torque.)

I use the fps.starterkit, so do i have to place the content there?

Hi Peter,

I replied to your email yesterday explaining how to get everything setup. Which development environment are you using to build Torque (Visual Studio, GCC, ...)? You need to use the same program to build the Lighting Pack.

If we start a new thread in the Lighting Pack forum I can go into more detail.

Thanks John,

I did not receive that email somehow what adress you send it to? my adress is steelpecker@hotmail.com

btw i start always the fps.starterkit because i have placed there all my content (buildings, textures, shapes, scripts, etc.) i start the demo map and then start with F11 a new map and begin building a new world.

its a year ago that i have worked with torque and now with all new content i have started again 1 week ago and are now making nice envoriments to test and to get all out of the engine. Soon i upload some screenshots.

I want to make first a FPS Fantasy game and planed to release it maybe for free, only to get a team together for the big plan....

Thnks Peter
