Transparency Issues

We are having issues with our transparent DTS objects.
The transparency works fine on most computers we have tested the game on, but one computer displays the transparent textures incorrectly. The bad machine's specs are:
Dell Inspiron 8200
Intel Pentium 4 mobile 1.60 GHz
1 gig of ram shipped with 256
a GeForce 4 440 go from NVIDIA
The user also has found that with the latest version of the drivers, Torque will not load at all, instead complaining that "no video driver can be found" or something to that effect. Other games run fine. So instead the user is using an older version of the drivers (2.7.5.0).
Here are two screenshots, one with the textures displaying correctly and the other taken from the machine in question. Is this a Torque bug?
