I miss the right bar

There was one element of the right bar in the old deisgn that I used all the time. It was the "recent forum post" section. It allowed one to causually keep the GG site open and only have to refresh the page to see if any intresting posts have been made. When I teach I always keep a browser open so I might assist Torquers while I worked. Since the change I haven't really had a convient way of searching the forum. Can you bring back the "Recent Forum Post section" in one way shape or form?

It is way easier than trying to see the last five unread posts.

Click on Read Unread Posts. When you are done, click on Mark all as Read. Now the next time you want to see what is going on, just click Read Unread Posts, and you will magiaclly see everything you missed.It is way easier than trying to see the last five unread posts.

I suspect i'll be dropping off the forums
because of the loss of the recent posts section.
Which bums me out,
but it's too much effort to find & follow active threads without it.
