Need help with sequence setup

Could anyone tell me how a sequence animation is setup for a biped character? Would you use a regular dummy setup for the hands, hip and feet then link them to a DTS sequence dummy or do you use DTS dummies for the limbs?

the sequene work the same requardless of the bones system(ie your own or biped). Make sure if it is a single mesh to use the skin modifier not physique and do not add footsteps to the skin modifier. Allshould work the same

What I'm not clear about is how to setup and place the dts dummies on your skeleton.

You don't have to place DTS dumies on your skeleton. What you need to do is link your bones to your mesh than animate the skeletong to do what ever you want let's say from frame 0 up to frame 30. Now create a DTS sequence dummie and place it in your root than set up the dummie to start on frame one and end on frame 30 that should be it.

When attempting to export the animation I get the error: Bone missing in shape.
Any ideas? Thanks

It may be best to ask that question in the DTS Exporter forum of your particular art program; they may be able to help you there.

Is your bone system placed under the start / base nodes?
