Learning purposes only, dunno if it would work with a Torque exporter if someone ever makes one, but there's more of an incentive now. =)

From what I understand on the way the Personal Version works, you will not be allowed to have commercial plug-ins going at all (obviously because they want you to buy the software). So I wouldn't expect there to be a Torque exporter for the personal version of Maya (good thought though).

This version is basically here to allow people who cannot afford the software a chance to try it out and learn on it without resorting to piracy.

and with their licence aggrement, you probably wouldnt be allowed to sell anything you make with it... such is life :)

Just think of what it will do for all those artists ! Every modeler I know drools over it :)

I believe that the images produced are watermarked, and the license does not allow commercial use.
