Abandon-ware

I was just wondering what Garage Games thoughts were on abandonware.
Say I design a game now, and it sells well. 5-10 years down the line when it is no longer making money would it be possible to release the game into the public domain (under whatever license) and allow people to play it free of charge?
Similar to how Doom, Quake 1 and 2 have been released. Would it be possible to do this with the current GarageGames software/license?

Worrying about what is going to happen 15 years from now is not very productive. We'll probably be playing games via neural implants:) GG doesn't care what you do with your game 15 years from now.Jeff Tunnell GG

actully abandonware isn't just that it was released 5-10 years ago it's that i'ts been abandoned by it's developer and publisher (hence the name abandonware).

If you did let people have it for free, I think that it would be too much to ask to have it hosted here, just due to the costs of hosting it like bandwidth etc. I suppose that you would have to find somewhere else to host it, but that shouldn't be too hard. Unless it was drawing plenty people to the site, it just wouldn't make good business sense to have entire games hosted here for free downloading.
