Garage Games Logo

Hello All

I've been reading some forum posts regarding the need to display a Garage Games logo in your published game. I'm not starting a new discussion on this matter, but i have to say i was aware of this when i first purchased the engine and am proud to do so.

My question is where can i download some alternative logos? I currently have the big GG logo against a white background and it doesn't fit in with my GUI. Can i make my own Garage Games logo? Maybe a little more exciting and in black for insance. I noticed a few games that had different logos, rocket bowl, realm wars etc etc. Were these made by the people who made the game or is there somewhere i can download alternative logos?

The requirement is for a Torque logo, not a GG one. Check the licensing forum for a post with a link to an archive file containing the Torque logo in .psd format.

I was thinking of the same thing, sort of like how they play with studio logos at the begining of movies sometimes, to match the theme.

Wysardry is correct. It's a Torque logo - you also need a link to GG in your about box/credits. Check the EULA for the exact requirements. The PSD file should give you the flexibility you need to help make the logo fit your game's look.

Thanks ben.
I downloaded the 3d version of the Torque logo and have animated it in max so it rotates and placed this in my gui. Then i have one of my game characters walk underneath it and the logo falls and crushes him. I like little humerous things like that in game start up screens and was wondering if you guys would accept this as meeting your logo placing requirements.
I suppose i should be asking this question closer to publishing time, it was just on my mind at the moment that's all.
I guess if worse comes to worse i could still keep this in my GUI and also have a still image of the Torque logo just to be safe.
Well i guess i kinda answered my own question...

I think that what you described would be fine.
