Bored Artist Needed

We need help on our freeware project getting a pair of hands from 3D Max to TGE.

We are making a rewrite of our hand sign animator to include skinning that will support our world languages literacy reading program. While the kid (or adult) sees text they will see a Flash animation for each word and if they want a hand sign for each word to help them recognize the meaning of the word. Our lexicon is done in Unicode so we support reading any language a volunteer will enter. And any sign language they will enter as well.

The hands will help our estimated 18,000,000 deaf world wide to learn to read their host country text. And help their 100,000,000 hearing parents, brother/sister, friends learn to speak sign language with their loved one.

There are 850,000,000 illiterate folks in the world above reading age so we want the hands to look nice if on a fast machine but certainly fast and nice on a very slooooow machine. And more girls in the world need to learn to read so your task is to make the hands cosmetically in both male AND female versions but with same rigging.

We have a donated pair of hands from PeeKoot that you can start from to touch up and export.

Any interested inquire at BobAchgill@hotmail.co

I think I have an able bodied volunteer programmer to take over once you export the hands but if you know of someone with that skill too that could get my guy a boost in the right direction that would be most helpful.

The reading lexicon is presently being loaded with Chinese, Russian, Farsi and Albanian soon as a first shake down cruise. It would be nice to get the hands feature going in parallel as we engage these user groups.
