Anyone know if it would be possible to create .dif objects using Blender?

A little info on the developer would be nice, maybe we could finish the thing.

EDIT: there's a contact form and a discussion on his website.
EDIT2: The name is Benoit Touchette.

This is close to the topic I was going to search for in the forums, so is there no way to get a blender model into the torgue engine as is, aka without adding any new code?

See this thread : www.garagegames.com/index.php?sec=mg&mod=resource&page=view&qid=4662
Also, the blender exporter CVS itself is at projects.blender.org/projects/torqueexporter

There is Blenderexporter plugin, which exports to DTS. See this thread : www.garagegames.com/index.php?sec=mg&mod=resource&page=view&qid=4662

I'm having a problem though with the UV texture...it's not using the UV coordinates at all. Anybody have any pointers on this? When in torque the texture shows up on the object, but not in the right place.
EDIT: Oh! You're asking about dif's, I was thinking DTS. No, blender (as far as I know) does not do Difs. I would recommend Quark for Difs.
I'm using Blender for my DTS objects, and Quark for my Difs. It's working nicely except for the texturing issue I'm having with blender but I hope to get that all settled soon.

I like Constructor more than Quark, but I do like making things like spiral stairs in Quark.

There is a tutorial on how to make spirals in the constructor forums. It's really quite simple to do using the tools that constructor has.

I've been on the constructor forums for quite some time. But I've just liked the Quark method for doing such things because I'm used to it and it is intuitive. Not everything about Quark is intuitive, but that is. I love Constructor and have been on the love-boat for a long while now.

But there _was_ work in progress on a blender2map exporter. The '_was_' is because while I was looking for this ressource, I found out that the author discontinued work on it, which is a sad thing.
He states that his work is unneeded since the Constructor is at the doors. I feel very much different (we should tell him).
I wonder how many third party developers gave up on the Constructor announcement. I am pretty sure that this was not what GG wanted and that they still encourage people to develop tools.
