Hi all,

If you can't tell by now i'm a mecha game whore. I love stomping around in big robots. since i cant pilot one in real life yet..... (come on 2006) I was taking a look back on the mecha games that i've played. anybody remember virtua on from sega? that was awesome. There was a game like it from jaelco made back in the ninetys is was the same way you sat in the cockpit and used the controls like virtua on. But I cant remembe what it was called i know it had something to do with robots maybe it was metal robots.... somebody help!!!!

I know 3 robot games:
- Mech Warrior
- Mech Commander
- Dark Horizons: Lore :)

I think you are talking on Mech Warrior there are 4 games in this series.

Do you mean Heavy Gear? Only one I can think of off hand but I dont think it was by jaelco. Otherwise, no clue.

Thats not it either. It was on the arcade. Maybe it was all just some crazy dream. All i can remember was the first level was filled with snow and you had to attack this base but i do remember it was a seat style arcade cabinet.

Man, I always wanted to play that SteelBattlion on Xbox with the $200 controls.
