I would imagine so, since that's what we pay for. :)

Iirc, and don't take this as set in stone as I'm not a GG employee or part of the T2D team, but there will be two versions of T2D when it's fully released :

- A binary version, centered around a sort of gamemaker way of doing things, (but still won't be a red button that makes your game for you 8p), that will allow beginners or people that don't need the source to make and release games.

- A full source version, which will include everything in the binary version, plus the full source code to the engine.

afaik , different price points are planned for the 2, which is in line with most of the competition ou there.

Quite honestly, the release points for T2D have evolved over the last 5 months, and GG as far as I am aware has not released information on the definitive plan. Nicolas very well could be correct, as that's the last I've heard as well, but all in all, they will tell us when they are ready!

To answer your specific question: EA purchases will always have access to the source code, since that's what they purchased. If GG does market a binary only version, then (obviously) purchasers of that version will not have access to the source code, but of course will have access to all of the scripts.

Thing to remember is if your an EA now you don't have to worry about that :)

Is there any ETA on the full release? This is something I'm worried about, because I want access to the source and I'm saving some money each paycheck to get the EA (I'm just a poor college student) and see what I can do with it.

Don't quote me on this, but I think it will be a good time before the full release :) Though better to get in T2D as soon as possible
