WinCVS login problems

I was wondering if I could get help logging into cvs. I followed the directions to a T, downloaded and setup WinCVS 1.2 correctly, attempt to login and it keeps giving me the 'Code 1' error which means the login/password was rejected. Any help would be appreciated.

or underscores !!!! if it does get the GG guys to change it

Nope, no spaces or underscores. When I signed up, I did use Upper Case letters, and I tried logging in with both all lowercase and with exactly the uppercase letters and still no luck. AAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGG!!!!

I don't see any problem with your login name or password, just make sure you enter it exactly as everything is case sensitive. Can you cut and paste the CVS log window? maybe I'll spot something :)

Got it. Strange, it works fine at home, but doesn't work at all at work. Thanks.

If you are having problems using CVS from work it could be due to being behind a firewall and having the port number CVS is using being blocked.

I had the same problem at work (firewall). If you know what the proxy settings are you can get around it. After entering the proxy info mine works fine.
