TrueSpace 6.5/6.6 Service Pack 2

Hi there,

I got the TrueSpace 6.6 bundle but for the DTS Exporter to work, it says that I need the TS 6.6 service pack 2. Even though I have a username and password at Caligari, the web site does not allow me to access the service pack 2 download (or any other free member download for that matter).

Could someone please send me the file so that I can export into Torque. I would very much appreciate it. Frankly, the people at Caligari aren't much help... yeah I called.... ;P

You aren't the only person having problems with caligari.
I have been using truespace since the early days, and 6.6
was the last for me. I had the medium go bad and needed to
download the program, no response from them. The 3ds format
has been corrupt on export since the begining and never fixed.
You can't get any help from them, but they can flood your in-box
with requests to buy product. Also it really upset me when going
from 6.5 to 6.6, that they took out support for X-files that was in
version 6.5, and required that you spend another couple of hundred
dollars to get the x-file support back. Since version 4, I have had to
re-install every couple of months,because the program gets corrupted.
I use alot of other 3d packages and "ts" is the ONLY one that has this
issue. I've tried to get an answer from roman and pirates,but fat chance
of that ever happening. I know someone that had problems with
gamespace crashing on them, they finally got a hold of tech support
and were told that they were clicking too fast. 6.6 has a lot of issues
with crashes a well. With the price drops from Softimage and Lightwave,
money would be better spent with a real 3d package.

That would actually be funny if I wasn't a Truespace 6.6 license owner :-(

XSI rocks - btw. I have been learning it for several months and really psyched about the XSI exporter that Matt Summers is reportedly going to release.
