RTS-SK for Commandos style game?

The game that I'm planning is sort of similar to the sneak-around style game of commandos. Fewer characters on screen. But still using the god view camera and the screen side navigation etc etc. But I've ran in to a small problem, I can't quite figure out how to create the game world. When I add a DIF shape to represent a road for example. The game ends with the motivation that I have the wrong version of RTS-SK or related art.
Should I recreate the art as DTS-shapes??

Ok I think the DIFs should be changed to DTS. Dif's should be interiors, and stuff where you need good art. I can tell you that Diff's do work in the RTS Kit, But not really needed for a road or anything flat. Also there is no collision, so your style of game would most likely need collision. Ok any of this make sense? anyone want to correct me? Any other questions about the RTS Kit?
EDIT: Also post you console.log so we can acually see you problem, if you dont mind.
