Just a quick question
does TGE support Normal Mapping or would it be best to upgrade to TSE for such joy?
does TGE support Normal Mapping or would it be best to upgrade to TSE for such joy?

TSE makes normal mapping very easy with its materials system, you simply define the texture you want to use as a normal map in the material datablock. You can create normal maps with such tools as the NV normal map filter for photoshop and polygon wrapping programs such as meLODy, etc.

I'd go for TSE. Especially while you can get the discount. I'm glad I finally did. You'll be pleasantly surprised at its abilities (and upcoming abilities).
