Mmorpg Starter Kit?

I have heard from someone there might be a possible MMOG/MMORPG Starter kit?
Is this true?
I'd certainly pay for the starter kit (if its not too expensive:p).
I personally would love to see a MMOG/MMORPG starter kit because it'd make my life easier:p and many other peoples.
I'd love to see the following implemented in one;
- Networking code (Server & client)
- Master Server designed to support 1000users without eating up ram
- Slave servers designed to support up to 200-500 Users
- Server administration for GM's, spawn NPC's, kick/ban players,etc.
- Database examples/tutorials for MYSQL (Game keys, characters, weapons, etc.)
- Inventory system tutorial/examples.
- Presistant world guides, tutorials and codes.
- Live update system
Perhaps a MMORPG Demo? (where you can choose 1 char, 2-3 weapons from a shop, money, etc.)
Anyone else have opinions? Please post.

The Omega Core website should be fully accessible now through www.omegacore3d.com. A new website will be going up in a few days with much more information regarding the MMORPG components.

Nope, he's still doing it. I think he'll update it soon. Don't worry though. Have you seen the screenies? They're really good.

I am definitely still doing it. In fact, quite a lot of progress has been made since the last web page update, but I just haven't taken the time to update it. First of all, I'm working on a new web-site with more information. Second, I wanted to have a lot of new stuff to post before updating it again. It shouldn't be long before another update is posted.

I decided to post a quick update this morning. I've also included a screenshot to show some of the progress that's been made.

Just tried to check out your site and am getting a page not found error. Is the site still www.omegacore3d.com?

Yes. I just tried it myself and it is working. Might just be a problem on your end that will get resolved in time.

Can't get to your site. can't resolve it. I'm on the other side of the globe.

Just bad timing, I think. My host has chosen today to do some server maintenance and the site has been down for a few hours. I'm not sure when it'll be back up. If you want more info, instant message me at TomJScott on AIM or e-mail me at tscott@magiqueproductions.com. I can send some screenshots on demand as well as more feature information.

I'm making an mmorpg with my team. A starkid would have been usefull but we're able to do without. Maybe i could release it as starter kit when we're done (wont be for another year though)

Magic Hat Software has a new program that lets you create your own MMORPG from their Irth Online game. It's called Irth Worlds. You can even start with their entire game as a base and make modifications from there. http://www.irthonline.com/pr_release_05252006.php

Unfortunate, but such is life. I think I'll personally be sticking with Torque. Its highly active and has a lot of promise.

Magic Hat Software and Irth Online have not made a Notible update to any of their news information since May of 2005. There is no reference to the engine or where a person might get it, only that press release saying they were going to release it. There isn't even updated information on their game itself not to mention the Magic Hat Software website has a collection of broken image links that make it look like an abandoned site.Unfortunate, but such is life. I think I'll personally be sticking with Torque. Its highly active and has a lot of promise.

Yes, I don't think their developer program ever materialized. I wrote them several times expresisng my interest in a possible Irth Worlds project and they never even had the courtesy to respond to me.
