This is a slightly cleaned up version of my personal fork of the In-Game Script Editor resource

NOTE... You need use the .exe and .bat file provided to run this (drop the .exe, .bat and TorqueIDE.zip into your T2D example folder)

Here's an old screenshot:

This is something I had worked on over a year ago and after GDC started cleaning up. I'm not releasing the Script source at the moment as you can get pretty much what I have from the Script Editor resource.

For those of you who had started on simliar projects, I apologize, I had not realized others would do this and so I didn't post about it. For those people pursuing this, I will tell you now that the MLTextEdit control is not equipped to handle being a full featured Script Editor.

In the meantime, I will be adding features back into my fork that are in the resource that I had removed as well as adding new features.

Wow.... very cool Harold ! definately will not expand my version any further... was more of a practice excercise anyways :) (in any case what I have now beats wordpad anyways... can't wait to see it in action

EDIT: though now I may go a different direction and make some level editors for a game system in T2D my team is working on, so thanks for the heads up lol It would've taken me a great deal of time to even get somewhat caught up

That does looks very cool, can not wait to try it! Does it support multiple open documents? Will this work on OS X?

King BoB: Yeah I wasn't intending to post this until I had cleaned it up a bit more, but when I saw your post I felt posting now would be less of a kick in the cajones then if I waited a couple weeks.

Brian A. Yes you can have multiple script windows open, only one Mini-Canvas though. As for OS X, the download I currently have will not work. I don't currently have an OS X system to compile the scripts with. I will see what I can do though.

LabRat: If you need some help compiling this for OS X, lemme know - I could put my MacMini to use and help ya out there. This looks like a fantastic resource!
