Problem with BraveTree Girl Pack death animation

by Todd D. Degani · in Artist Corner · 03/17/2005 (9:00 am) · 4 replies

I was having this problem with my own model so I purchased the BraveTree Girl Pack to see how they had corrected the problem. Unfortunately they didn't. After the death animation plays the character floats above the surface of the terrain.

Interesting. Does she float above it inside of interiors? If so, it could be a problem with inaccurate collision on terrain (I noticed some strangeness with running up hills in the past).

It would be great to get a screenshot of this same angle with the bounding boxes turned on.

@David
Yes, she floats in the interiors as well.

Thats what I assumed at first too. But looking at the images you can see that the character is floating inside the bounding box yet in the MAX file this is not the case. Nor is it the case when you view the character in the ShowTool.
