Help I am stuck

I purchased the engine a week and a half ago. I was following a tutorial from the forums "A non-FPS Torgue game : TicTacToe" I got all the way down to the third step and nothing happens. It says Open The File menu and select "New GUI..." Enter "TicTacToeGui" as GUI name and "GuiControl" as class. Press the "New control" button and create a new tttTSCtrl control. When I press the button I can't create the control. What am I missing? this tutorial was written in 2003 and 2004. I want to use this engine and studying almost everything, but I am getting really frustrated with some of these tutorials because they are not updated or just plain don't work. I have the Book 3D programming all in one, and even the book has flaws, this gets really frustrating when you buy a product and the resources are useless. I had to create a .cc file and a .h file but where in the source code does it go.

It has a lot of usefull information.
From there, I recommend you go through the CodeSampler Tutorials and then the Essential Guide to TGE.
You will then have a better understanding of the engine and you can decide on where to focus next. That page has a lot of useful information.
