Detail Level?

Hi,
This may be an easy fix, but im not sure wxactly is causing it, but wheb you go from a set distance away from an object in the game, then it reverts to a very lot res or low detail texture level on the item itself.
See screenshot below, and as you can see the quality of the 2 diffrent distances (hardly any change) is far too much.
It's an XSI model textured in XSI, exported as a dotxsi, imported into milkshape where the UV texture is then reapplied and exported as a DTS model.

I just got Toqrue the other day, so I don't have a direct answer,
but in some other game I developed, would have an option... either in the code or through the editor to change at what distance from the camera each LOD would kick in...
I wonder if you could find this parameters maybe in a C-script file... unless this part is in C++
Not sure if you can directly change LOD distance settings from the editor as I'm new to Torque

But incerasing the distance at which it changes would be an option.... any other ideas? Or additional info?

Its not really that the level of detail is changing, its more that it looks so massivly bad once it does change...But incerasing the distance at which it changes would be an option.... any other ideas? Or additional info?
