TGE Noob: #4 AYBABTU - Outside Sites

by Richard Bottoms · in Torque Game Engine · 03/13/2005 (8:00 pm) · 5 replies

I am starting a series of posts called TGE Noob. I'll try to get answers to some of the more maddening things if you are just coming to TGE.

#4. How do I use the tutorial.base code?

The web site CodeSampler has the skinny on how to use tutorial.base:

http://www.codesampler.com/torque

The Bottom Line:

There are sites out there that are helpful to the Noob.

Post them here for others to see. Pat back vigorously.

Not all the useful links are outside:

Very much improved.

That answer came from me, and I was wrong (someone in that thread corrected me). While the tutorial.base on Garage Games (which I hadn't seen before) was made with the same idea as the one on Codesampler, it is not the same package. Use Codesampler's tutorial.base if you are doing Codesampler tutorials. Use Garage Game's tutorial.base if you are doing Garage Games tutorials which require a tutorial.base.
