Star Castle

Back in the day there was a stand up game called Star Castle. It was black and white but
had plastic film of various colors on the monitor. A central castle with rotating and counter rotating walls.
The player ship was like the Asteriods ship. Same controls and simple dot gun. You punched holes
thru the various layers until reaching the "core".
Just something I want to take a shot at with T2d as an upcoming learning project.
I loved this game at the time it was out and still have dreams about playing it again. I never
found the MAME files for it either.
EDIT: Did a google and found a URL with more background www.klov.com/game_detail.php?letter=&game_id=9754

I really want to do a remake of Atari's Quantum, which was my favorite of the olden games. It was done with a vector display, like Star Castle, but it used a trackball, and I'm not sure it would port well to being mouse-based. If not, I might just have to do a clone of Food Fight :-)

OOH... And another that I lived for at the time was Omega Race. :)

Was omega race the one where you had to defend a group of triangles that enemy ships would tow away? Whatever game that was, it was frustrating.
