TSE interiors, Documentation and Tools

Ok, I just spent something close to 4 hours working in and around TSE and have nothing to show for it.
1- Is the map2dif tool work in TSE, I have a compiled debug version from the TSE source and cannot get any interiors (non complex ones even) to compile. The tool starts to parse the .map file and crashes. My biggest complaint is that it wont give any reason, it just felt like it. "I ate your map file...it tasted good" would even be sufficient.
2- I havent seen any postings on the site regarding TSE tools, and availability to artists, I assume there are none because of its "early adopter" status?
3-As a content creator, where to i go with questions regarding art tools? I've seen the "Artists Section" but theres not much there in terms of support. I would really like to create content for TSE, but it seems I have no where to turn to, the documentation ( i know theres not much atm) is all blocked from me because I didnt actually purchase a license directly.
4- Where is the art pipeline going with TSE? The milestone map is pretty loose on detail. Personally, i would love to see TSE drop the dependency from outside tools, but something tells me that may not be the case for quite a while.
Overall, i really want to like TSE, but the art tools are somewhat disappointing, i can learn to live with it, and work around what ever issues im having, but i shouldnt have to.
