Refresh rate bug

#1 Robert, as stated in the other thread, this is a pretty wide issue w/ many games. Some people have implemented workarounds for other games, we'll do a spot of research and see if we can do something similar for Torque.

#4 Actually though, I think it's good to segregate posts when they start to hijack, or go from a "am I doing something wrong?" discussion to a confirmed (or at least extremely suspicious) bug. I know that I do that in the RTS SK forum!

And just to throw some gasoline onto the mix for this one: On 5 separate platforms with 5 different video cards (and drivers), I've never had this problem--not with TGE, RTS-SK, or the minimal loads I've done with T2D. Not even with the TSE demo now that I think about it. I'm betting that some/many OpenGL drivers default to 60 instead of defaulting to "best optimized"--laziness on the driver developer's side IMO. Yes, it would be best if Torque platforms always force the setting, I agree, but it's not as widespread of an issue as it may sound.
