Do we really need an introduction?

Oh well. Glad to have you here.

@Arron: Welcome to Torque! It will be very interesting to see how you develop in the community as a professional game dev using our beloved Torque platform!

Just as an informal FYI, George's main point is that the GG community isn't used to seeing separate intro posts--mostly because it's been here for so long that the sheer amount of intro posts would get huge! I know that's unusual in many forum communities, but for the most part people here will refer to your profile and your .plans to gather information about specific members as they become "interesting".

    Looking forward to your participation!

Man thats so pathetic. I'd give more repsect to someone who posted "Hi I'm new to game dev and am planning to make a MMORPG three times larger and better looking than WoW!"
Better to dream big time than to fake it.

Bah. I wonder what's the motivation for all this. I mean, GG boards are not known for hot chicks falling for "cool developers". Imagine that someone asked him to be a lead programmer for a game, what then - would he automagically become coding guru and deliver? Pheh, pathetic.
One thing he has ensured- anywhere he has posted his "resume", his name has become a laughing stock and people will avoid him even if he starts getting some skills - who on earth would want to have any business with him.

Arron, I apologize for pokin' fun at you, but you really crossed the line with your lying. And like Nauris said, you have probably ruined your rep somewhat as you are on many forums claiming to be a coding veteran, but you're actually a high school 13 year old. Maybe 10 yrs from now when you are actually as experienced as you say you are now and mature enough to work, then maybe people will have forgotten about this, incredibly...incredibly, funny crap. XD

I read a quote this morning, and then rather ironically this guy comes along :

"Tell me what you brag about and I'll tell you what you lack."
    - Spanish proverb

(Hopefully I quoted this one accurately, not like the last time...)
