Chapters or Meetings

Just wanted to ask if there are any Garage Game chapters or Meetings in florida? I am from the Polk county area of Florida. If there are none I think it would be cool to start one or just once in a while a get together of developers to talk about different subjects of development, games, and the indie scene.

That is basically what I am going for if there are no GG chapters. I have tried getting into contact with IGDA but the Orlando chapter I think is totally gone. So if there are no game development chapters or meeting for indepedent game developers I think it would be cool to get one going.

I don't remember the exact name of the summit or how often it is but make sure your signed up for the newsletters. they always mention that stuff

That there is the link to where they had the Torque boot camp. I really would like to know if this is something that they will do often here in florida. I was really suprised that there wasn't really a mention on the website about everyone being here. If I hadn't had to go home for family stuff, I would have went

There was a boot camp at the last summit thingy in orlando.I don't remember the exact name of the summit or how often it is but make sure your signed up for the newsletters. they always mention that stuff

I didnt know about it till it was to late. Would have been nice to go. Well lets just cross our fingers for next year :(
