Two questions

I have two questions about the leval editor:
1. For some reason, I can save levals in the editor, but when I go into the package contents to see the file, its not there! Then when I go back into the leval editor, it says it's there! What could be happening?
2. How do people make those pictures that apear on the right in the leval select screen?
any help would be apreciated
thanks!

Thanks very much! I would have never guessed it would be in the library, i thought it would be in the application contents (which was where I was looking :-D )

You can auto-create this preview by pressing ctrl-L (or is it alt/option-L?) when in the level while cheats are enabled. You will see the image appear in the upper right of the screen for a second, and it will automatically be saved in the same directory as the mission with the same name as the mission and a .png extension.

I (when looking in the code on how to make testcheats always 1) found that you can take a mini screenshot with ctrl-l, or a full size screenshot with ctrl-p

I did the screenshot but where can I find it? On my desktop?

No, it's in the same folder as the .mis file (probably data>missions>custom). It has the same name as the mis.

2. inside the level editor, in the camera menu, do "Drop camera at player" now you should be able to fly around and through stuff. Goto some place with a good view of your level, and take a screenshot. Then open your image in an image editor and crop out the timer , gem thing and powerup box, and resize it to 258 by 193 pixels. Then save it with the same name as your level. (NewLevel.mis and NewLevel.jpg)
