I need help!

Hi,

We're working on a *bunch* of projects here at GG, and a couple really important ones involve documentation. In particular, in the next month or so, we want to push out another big documentation update on the site, and we also want to finally release the printed version of our docs. I'm overloaded at the moment, and need some help to get this stuff done. :)

There's really only about 3 weeks of work to do in order to get these projects out the door. I need folks who are willing to do a couple things: convert some existing documentation over to the DocBook format, and help proof-read / edit the docs for printed publication. I can also use some help with the layout / printed format of the docs, so if someone with a good sense of design is able to help out there, I'd be very grateful.

If you're interested in helping out, please post here and I'll be in touch. Any assistance is very much appreciated! For right now, I just need to gather a list of people who are interested in helping out, and then right around March 17th or so, I'll be ready to get this project kicked into gear (gotta get T2D out the door and go to GDC in the mean time.)

A few people have contacted me about helping out with docs specifically before, and I'll be in touch with those folks personally in the next few weeks. I'd love to get a couple other people on-board as well, and hopefully we can get a big, nice doc update and the printed version of the docs out the door ASAP.

This will help everyone who uses Torque, so lots of people will appreciate any help you can offer! Look forward to hearing back from anyone who's interested in collaborating on this. Thanks guys. :)

Josh

I would be interested in proof-reading if it would help you out.

I would love to help. Never can read too many docs.

I would be interested in helping out with DocBook conversion, proofreading and/or editing.

I'm not familiar with DocBook, so I don't know how helpful I'd be with the conversion side of things, but I'd love to help with proofreading and editing of the documentation.

Whoa. Am I reading too much into this? :)
