3ds exporter

i was wondering where i could find a 3ds exporter... my friends and i are considering making a game for torque but i would like to mess with the artstuff first ... where can i find sample playermodels of torque so i will know what style of modeling to use... and where can i find a 3ds importer/exporter for the models i make... also where can i find worldcraft plugins
