Why no hammer forum

theres docs on configuring it for hammer for torque, and hammer is far better then quark, why no forum for it

Because the Hammer license doesn't allow use for commercial products.

Valve has stated that we can use it with no problems.

No, they promised way back in '02 or thereabouts that they would look into allowing Hammer to be used for commercial work in Torque. Nothing since.

How I wish that were true...or that id had said we could use Radiant with no problems, but sadly, those ships seem to have sunk.

Statements over e-mail sadly do not hold weight against the actual license if it came down to it.

The current Hammer license does not allow it to be used for commercial products. The license is the only legally binding terms Valve has given for the use of Hammer. Because GarageGames does not recommend the use of this tool to Torque developers, we do not provide support forums for it.
