Is it posible to To do this without spending thousands of dollars on software? Do any of the exporters work on a mac?

What about .dif?

I have looked everywhere and I'm very confused.

Forest,

if you want to send me your simple shape I'll take a look at it and see what's up. I'm on a mac with blender 2.36. Use the e-mail in my profile.

Dirk: Yes, I searched and theres nothing there.

So, to make a dts you have to save and then export, am I right?

I think that perhaps I need a older version of python. (I got that idea at the bottom of the page here), but I'm not sure how to compile it. I typed the path for the folder "Python 2.3.5" into the terminal, but it says I don't have permissions to access it. I have admin access on my login and I changed the folder's permissions (I already own it, I just changed the group access to admin) and it still didn't work.

I am out of ideas. If the log says exporting finished without an error message, the python is the right one and the exporter works. When I tried it, it silenty created a .dts file, where i was under the impression that it didn't work at all. That's why i insisted that it has to be there ...

Maybe you indeed send the file to Joe just to make sure that it does work.

Note the commercial use policy and lack-of-an-upgrade option with academic software.
