Mesh is invisible

I know I have ADD and whatnot... but:

I have been trying to export my character for a week and I need some suggestions. When I export my character, the mesh is either not there at all or is "invisible",
I get no errors on export. The dump file shows no problems. The file loads in the engine---but theres nothing there. The crossbow is in the right place and the animations seem to work (the camera bobs up and down).

Using the Showtool Pro ap, I see me bones exported, but no mesh is visible.

Where do I start to investigate? the dump file goes through all the usual assigning mesh to bones and all that.... I have run out of ideas on what to double check.

ps. I have no errors when I run the shape check modifer in MAX either....

Thanks for reading my post.

Ah! I had this happen to me when I was learning to make characters. This happened to me when I had my character with a "-1" marker, making the name look like: "Blobble-1" (blobble being the character name)

I renamed him "Blobble128" and made a 128 detail node marker and he exported perfectly! Not sure if this is your problem but this is what I was doing wrong. Hope I helped.

Erm... well, does the player cast a shadow? If not then he is not exporting any mesh at all... I don't remember if this ever happened to me... But what exporter are you using?
