"~" to open up the console ?

Hey everyone,

I'm just starting with TGE and I'm having a hard time just opening the console.
It says "~" will bring it up, but nothing's happening.
I'm using a French keyboard that requires me to hit AltGr + 2, then just dto produce a ~. I'm suspecting this is my problem.

Can anyone help me with this ?

Try the key at the top left of the keyboard (next to number 1) - it isnt mapped to ~ on my (UK) keyboard but opens the console.

I had exactly the same problem as I was typing ~ but needed to type '

Took me ages to figure out which key it wanted :(
