Larger Terrain?

HOW LARGE CAN MY TERRAIN BE IN MISSION

IS THERE A WAY OF INCREASING THE TERRAIN SIZE WITHOUT CHANGING THE (SQUARE SIZE) AND THEREFORE EFFECTING TERRAIN TEXTURES...
