I've got a bridge thingy that i built from dts objects. The lighting on them looks wierd

Is this a byproduct of the sun (being way far off) is the only light atm??

Nope . but Ii think it IS an exporter thing.. i think i used UU on that one.. the newcube2 with the same texture/normalmaps from the demo does not seem to do this..

Could be that they're all getting lit by the sun, causing a highlight in the same spot for all of them.

I have seen this in Using Other Commercial engines at work.. not sure how Torque or the exporter handels smoothing groups when exporting meshes.. but that looks like the problem

I have see this effect before, and usually has to do with smoothing groups. Make sure on Cubic objects that you set your edges to be Hard!before exporting them.. Looks like your lighting is treating these as rounded objects, which probably means your edges have some smoothing applied to them.I have seen this in Using Other Commercial engines at work.. not sure how Torque or the exporter handels smoothing groups when exporting meshes.. but that looks like the problem
