Multi res.dll for 3DSmax

Where can I get (if freeware) or buy (if retail) the multires.dll used in 3dsmax to give different resolution of characters to the engine???

As far as I know MultiRes is not freeware.

If you have Max R4, there is a liscensed copy included with the software. If you are running a R3.x copy of Max you can purchase MultiRes at www.digimation.com. As for other versions of Max I don't think that the plugin is available for them.

Thanks for the info guys!

I have 3DSmax version 4.2

I will look into the matter, I don't know why I get errors when I load Tribes 2 characters if it is included in my software... my 3DSmax is right out of the box, and I do not know where everything is yet.

Any help will be welcome... I will keep following the tutorials and browse through the documenttation in the meantime.
