Torque help

Hi, I just got torque, and I also got the Combo pack with all the buildings, trees, ect and I was wondering how to put the combo pack into Torque.

I also just got the RTS TSK and I am not sure if I understand how to do it, I figured it would just be an add on to Torque but it seems seperate than Torque, so am I missing something?

RTS starter kit includes a lot of source code changes to TGE, so it makes sense to download it as a completely separate program. It is basically a large patch to TGE, but for your convenience Garage Games simply provides you with a version of TGE that is already patched with RTS additions.

Note: I'm pretty sure that I'm right about these things, but I'm not an RTS owner. Let me know if anything I said seems to be way off base.

Edit:
Also, there is a private forum for RTS owners. That might be a better place to get help with the RTS installation if that's what gives you trouble.

Eric is correct. The RTS kit comes with a fully patched version of the Torque Game Engine. No need to patch your regular TGE install. Just open up the RTS kit and have a ball.

As for the Combo kit, I do not have it but I think it comes with a Readme file that explains which folder to install all the shapes, interiors and textures into. Once installed they should become available in the torque world editor.

Note that there might be separate readme files for each of the individual packs in the combo pack.

Ahh ok not that makes since, I thought I had to somehow transfer the rts into Torque, thanks

I tryed to understand the readme file, I guess I need to finish reading the book I got before I jump into Torque.
