Wordcraft vs 3DSMAX for open air buildings

What I mean by open air building is an exterior football stadium.
I found it hard to make the stadium in worldcraft and I do not really like how Wordcraft changes the shapes with boolean operations (it separates the shapes in many little shapes, which is fine when u are doing straight wall, but when you try to make round or eliptic boolean operations, it screws the model).
Is there a drawback to make a big stadium in 3dsmax and then create an object out of it and use it in my map. Is there a limitation on poligon numbers for objects? Is there a performance issue with doing what I plan to do?
