Vehicle Inventory?

I looked around in inventory.cs, and I noticed that it says that inventory is totally scripted. Does this mean that if my 'player' was a vehicle (ie, in game.cs the %player = FlyingVehicle() ), it will work? I remember when i first did that, I had to comment out setInventory in game.cs because it gave me script errors...if I want to port inventory to vehicles, where would I need to change stuff?
