Milkshape exporter error "Assertion failed when stripping(5)"

Can someone let me know what this error means.

"Assertion failed when stripping(5)". I am using the milkshape exporter with an older version of Milkshape 1.6.5.

It only happens on one particular model that I have made. It seems to be something to do with the skeleton/bones in the model.

Here are the last few lines of the dump.dmp file:

Optimizing skin mesh "Barbarian0" detail level 0.
984 verts before joining verts
984 verts after joining verts
1106 faces before stripping
Using Quick, dirty, & ugly stripping method.
1 strips with average length 3.00 (range 3 to 3) and -1105 reversals

Just tested it with Milkshape 1.7.2 and latest exporter (Torque DTS Plus) and it still occurs.

Can you post the file anywhere and I'll take a look or email it to me at my sad hotmail account. I'm working 1.7.4 right now and it's pretty good, might be worth the update. The later versions have a much higher face count and keyframe count. Negative number of 'null' faces to complete the stripping, something sounds definitely wrong with the shape....most likely the mesh?!? Fairly high vert to face ratio?? Has welding the verts/groups/meshes done any help?
