Problem: Eaten Up CD

I have a big problem.
My cd that I am trying to use (that came with the book) is destroyed because of my crappy computer scratching it out (and I mean deep scratches).
Is there any way of recieving the files on that cd from anyone here? Should I give anyone proof that I purchased the book and indeed have it here?
Any help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

It turns out that it was some sort of wax residue which made it look like part of my cd was keyed. I used a cleaner and a soft, special cloth, which cleaned it right up.
